Studio RS - Post 1

So I've moved in, set up my knitting machine and started to learn to knit.  OK, I've not set up my studio properly yet - no shelves, cupboards or drawers as such, but I'm getting there.  I hope I never arrive, cause that'll mean I have to move on.

It's not as easy as I thought.  The instruction booklet says that I could become efficiant enough to do 1 inch per minute.  I was lucky to manage 1 inch in THREE HOURS!  It's great fun though, so I'll carry on.

Update Feb 2012: After a few more hours of getting nowhere I gave up and packed the machine in its box and put it away.  I think maybe the wool was not chunky enough, as it is suposed to be for thicker wools.  I will either try again after my current art course is finished or offer it up for sale or something.

Introduction

I have no new stuff to post just yet, as I have only just signed a contract for my small studio and have not moved in yet.  I hope to post some pictures of my developments soon, so please pop back.

You can see some of my crafting on my other blog 'Hope Holistics' for the time being.  Go to my profile and follow from there.

Below is a study of an old tatty teapot using an ordinary black ball point pen, which I did in 2009.  The first image is a detailed drawing and the other image is without taking the pen off the paper.
